Page: https://viralmeme.ai/meme/4-iced-teas-meme ## TL;DR The 4 iced teas meme is a clip from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders in which the Joestar group, told that nobody in a Giza café answers questions until you order, flatly orders iced teas, in the line fans quote as "iced teas, four of them." The scene is from episode 34, "D'Arby the Gambler, Part 1," which aired in Japan in March 2015. In October 2026 the line returned as the punchline of phonk, Roblox and Minecraft edits, explainer videos followed on October 21 and 23, and US searches for "4 iced teas" reached several times their mid-October level. ## What does 4 Iced Teas Meme (JoJo) mean? The 4 iced teas meme is about a completely ordinary line said with total seriousness. In the scene, the heroes walk into a café looking for information and learn its rule: you order a drink before you ask anything. Instead of arguing, they comply, flatly ordering iced teas, four of them, as if placing the order were a dramatic act. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is known for intense poses and over-the-top delivery, so a calm drink order lands as a joke of its own. People use the 4 iced teas clip as a punchline. It drops into the middle of a tense edit, closes a compilation, or answers any situation where someone has to follow a silly rule before getting what they want. The joke needs no knowledge of the plot, which is why the 4 iced teas meme reaches people who have never watched JoJo. Lessons in Meme Culture's October 23 video, titled "Why Did They Order Four Iced Teas?", is built around exactly that question. ## Why did 4 Iced Teas Meme (JoJo) take off? The 4 iced teas line had been a small JoJo fan joke for years: Know Your Meme hosts a "Four iced tea, please." image uploaded in December 2015, and a YouTube clip titled "JoJo - How To Order and Drink Iced Tea!" has more than 12 million views. What changed in October 2026 is the setting. The clip became a beat in phonk edits and in Roblox and Minecraft remakes, where its pause and flat delivery fit a cut or a bass drop. The new wave reached people who had never seen the series, and they went looking for an explanation. HiDryBone posted a 4 iced teas explainer on October 21, and Lessons in Meme Culture followed on October 23 with a video that passed 300,000 views the same day. Search tells the same story. On Google Trends in the US, searches for "4 iced teas" more than doubled between October 19 and October 23 and stood at several times their mid-October level, with "four iced teas" climbing alongside, and autocomplete now offers "4 iced teas jojo" and "4 iced teas jojo episode." ## Where did 4 Iced Teas Meme (JoJo) come from? The scene comes from Stardust Crusaders, the third part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. In manga chapter 211, "D'Arby the Gambler, Part 1," published in 1991, the Joestar group reaches the Nine Pyramids Lounge, a café near the Great Pyramids of Giza, while searching for a photo of DIO's mansion. According to the JoJo Wiki, it is customary there to order drinks before asking any questions, because the customers refuse to answer until you do, and the group buys iced teas. None of the customers can identify the photo; the café is where the group meets the gambler D'Arby.
