Refund Policy

1. The short version

A make that fails is never charged: the credits come back on their own. Unused pack credits can be refunded within 7 days of purchase; used credits can't. You can cancel a plan any time in Settings → Billing, and a plan payment can be refunded within 7 days if none of that period's credits were used.

2. What things cost

Signing in is free. Making a meme is paid with credits; there are no free makes and no signup credits.

• An image costs 5 credits.
• A video costs 10 credits (12 seconds, 720p, vertical).

The cost is shown on the button before you make anything. You buy credits in one-time packs or with a monthly or yearly plan, through Stripe's checkout. Prices are on the Pricing page. Different visitors may be shown different offers; the price shown at checkout applies.

Credits we give for free have no cash value and can't be refunded or exchanged.

3. Credit packs

Packs are one-time purchases. Pack credits never expire.

4. Plans

Plans renew automatically until you cancel.

• Each billing period's credits are added when that period is paid. A yearly plan adds the whole year's credits at once.
• Plan credits expire when their billing period ends. Unused plan credits don't roll over.
• Pack and plan credits share one balance, and the credits that expire soonest are used first.

5. Cancelling a plan

Cancel any time in Settings → Billing. Cancelling stops all future charges right away. Credits already added for the current period stay in your balance until that period ends. We don't give prorated refunds for the rest of a period.

6. Failed makes

If a make fails, you are not charged: the credits come back to your balance on their own, at the latest when you next open that result in Me. No ticket needed. A make fails when:

• the AI model returns an error, or the make doesn't finish in time;
• we can't save a finished image;
• a video is withheld by our safety check.

If our safety filter flags a photo when you tap Make, the make is refused before any credits are spent. Refunded credits go back where they came from and keep their original expiry date. A make that works but that you don't like is not a failure.

7. Refunds on credit packs

• A pack that is completely unused can be refunded in full within 7 days of purchase.
• A partly used pack can be refunded within the same 7 days for its unused credits, at that pack's price per credit.
• After 7 days, or for credits already spent on a make, purchases are final.
• When we refund a purchase, we remove the unspent credits it added.

8. Refunds on plans

• First payment: can be refunded in full within 7 days if none of its credits were used.
• Renewals: a renewal payment can be refunded within 7 days of that charge only if none of that period's credits were used.
• Otherwise, plan payments are final, and part periods are not refunded. You can still cancel at any time to stop future charges.

9. Billing mistakes

Charged twice, or charged the wrong amount? Contact us within 30 days with the order number and we will fix it.

10. Chargebacks

Please contact us before you dispute a charge with your bank; most problems can be solved quickly. A fraudulent chargeback (disputing a charge for credits you used) may lead to your account being suspended.

11. How to ask for a refund

Open a support ticket (Settings → Support Tickets), or email support@viralmeme.ai, with the order number (you'll find it in Settings → Payments) and the reason. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

12. Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits the refund rights that consumer law gives you where you live.
