I'll Kick Your Butt in Smash Bros. (Haminations Who I Am Remix)

The meme is a sound. In the Haminations Who I Am video, the animator sings a cheerful list of things about himself, and at 1:14 he sings, "I'll kick your butt in Smash Bros.", a boast about Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. fighting games. The remix loops that line over a beat, and the edits pair it with a character dancing as if it were a club anthem.

The joke is the mismatch: a sweet, earnest line about a video game, played like a hype track while Homer Simpson or Sonic dances to it. Captions usually just repeat the line, sometimes shortened to "IKYBISB."

The remix landed in the middle of a bigger moment for the song. In September 2026, clips of Haminations Who I Am were already circulating on TikTok as the Haminations Cringe trend, where people joked about having watched the video as kids, according to Know Your Meme. A catchy remix of its most quotable line gave everyone who knew the song something new to post.

The format is also easy to copy. Editors only need the sound, titled "original sound – tori ⛧" on TikTok, and a clip of a character dancing. Once a Homer Simpson edit passed a million plays in early October, others redrew it, swapped in new characters and re-uploaded it to YouTube, and the biggest edit we found passed 6.2 million plays on TikTok.

Haminations is a YouTube animation channel run by Bryson Julian Rasmussen, who started it on February 20, 2017, and which mostly posts storytime animations. On December 21, 2019, the channel posted "Who I Am (Official Music Video)," a song in which Rasmussen introduces himself and his interests. The Smash Bros. line comes at 1:14. Haminations Who I Am had passed 15 million views by October 2026, per Know Your Meme.

On September 11, 2026, TikToker @imquentinnever posted a remix of the line. The caption makes clear it is not meant as a dig: "again i HAVE NO PROBLEM with haminations i like haminations and i just rlly like remixing who i am lol." That post had 1.4 million plays and 124,900 likes when we checked on October 20, 2026.

In October the sound moved into meme edits. On October 4, TikToker @12wingost set it to a scene from The Simpsons season 35, episode 17, in which Homer dances with a cup of coffee in a parody of Austin Powers; the edit had 1.3 million plays by October 20. Know Your Meme added its entry on October 13, 2026.
