Mouth a movie star's name. Cut to the outfit. The movie star mouths it back.

The Nicole Kidman song trend is a lip-sync and outfit-reveal format on TikTok set to "Nicole Kidman", a track by Slovak singer ADÉLA from her debut album PRIMA. The album came out on September 4, 2026, and the song hit No. 2 on Spotify's global daily chart by September 21. In October, Chanel posted Dua Lipa, Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig lip-syncing the Nicole Kidman song, with Kidman mouthing her own name at the end.
What does Nicole Kidman Song Trend mean?
The Nicole Kidman song trend is a feeling-myself soundtrack: for a few seconds, you're as glamorous as a film star. The classic Nicole Kidman song video is a getting-ready clip. Someone mouths the hook in sweats and messy hair, then a hard cut on the title line shows the finished outfit, makeup and smug stare.
The Nicole Kidman song trend doesn't use the actress's face or footage, and you don't need to have seen her films. Her name is shorthand for old-fashioned movie-star polish, which is how ADÉLA meant it.
Why did Nicole Kidman Song Trend take off?
The Nicole Kidman song spread because a name-drop hook fits any glow-up, night-out or outfit video, and the cut lands on one obvious beat. ADÉLA's album arrived with attention already on her after Ain't In LA, which had put her on the Hot 100. The Nicole Kidman song climbed to No. 3 on the Billboard Global 200 dated October 3.
Then the namesake joined in. Kidman praised ADÉLA and the Nicole Kidman song on The Tonight Show, and in October she mouthed her own name at the end of Chanel's front-row clip.
Where did Nicole Kidman Song Trend come from?
The Nicole Kidman song began at a party. In January 2026, ADÉLA, the Slovak singer behind the summer hit Ain't In LA, went to a Golden Globes party in a corset so tight that she felt like Nicole Kidman. She told W Magazine that, to her, Kidman is the movie star.
She wrote the Nicole Kidman song with Blake Slatkin, Dylan Brady, Julia Michaels, Billy Walsh and Anna-Catherine Hartley, also known as Uffie, and it samples a 1986 gospel recording, "In My Father's House" by God's Gospel Angels. ADÉLA asked Kidman's permission to use her name.
Capitol released the Nicole Kidman song on September 4, 2026, as the second track on ADÉLA's debut album PRIMA. TikTok creators paired the Nicole Kidman song with outfit reveals within weeks, and New Engen credited a clip from creator Alix Earle, filmed with her head out of a car window at night, with popularizing the format.

Popular versions of Nicole Kidman Song Trend
The glam reveal
The core Nicole Kidman song video: start in loungewear, mouth the hook, and time the switch to a full look for the title line. New Engen advises a smug stare over a big, exaggerated lip-sync.
The car-window night shot
Alix Earle's clip, with her head out of a car window and city lights blurring behind her, became the reference shot, New Engen says. Many Nicole Kidman song posts copy it: night, a moving car, and the reveal saved for the hook.
Pass the phone
Groups pass the camera from person to person, each mouthing a line, then pan to whoever gets the last word. That's how Chanel's version works, and it's an easy way for friends or coworkers to do the Nicole Kidman song together.
The Chanel front row
The best-known Nicole Kidman song clip came from Chanel's Spring/Summer 2027 show in Paris. Kristen Wiig starts, Pedro Pascal and Dua Lipa take lines, and Nicole Kidman ends it by mouthing her own name and blowing a kiss to the camera.
